  • Loss Prevention data were collected after four months for study (used testing for hiring) and control (no testing) locations.

Results

  • The control locations not using testing lost:
    • 13% more money due to a foreign object found in food/beverage.
    • 46% more money due to broken or chipped glass.
    • 3 times more money due to damaged clothes.
    • 3 times more money due to food/beverages being spilled/ dropped.
    • Twice as much money due to food being prepared wrong.
