Case Study: Predicting Management Performance with MSI™
Client ChallengePredicting management performance in the QSR segment using the MSI™. SolutionA consortium study was conducted in the quick service restaurant industry with 450 unit-level managers across 27 restaurant companies. MSI™ assessment scores and supervisory ratings were collected to determine the predictive relationship between the MSI™ and on-the-job performance of unit-level managers. ResultsRestaurant managers who were rated as above average performers by their supervisors scored statistically higher on the MSI™, while managers who were rated as average or below average performers scored statistically lower on the MSI™. Thus, using the MSI™ to make hiring decisions is an effective strategy for quick service restaurant companies to improve the performance of unit-level managers. |
