Executive Development

The Batrus Hollweg model of executive development includes two core components: competency modeling and executive assessment. Other components and processes are added to meet the unique needs of the participating executive.

Core Components

  • Competency Modeling »
    Competency definitions are a map for successful performance on the job. Understanding what is required for success is a key component of providing developmental feedback to executives. These competency definitions can be as simple as a job description or as comprehensive as a formal competency model.
  • Executive Assessment »
    The Developmental Executive Assessment thoroughly assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the executive, as benchmarked against peers in similar positions or at similar levels in their organizations.

Optional Components

Optional Components can be added to the developmental process as necessary to propel the growth and insight of the executive. Batrus Hollweg offers several options, including:

  • 360° Survey »
    A 360° survey (also known as a multi-rater survey) evaluates the impact the executive is having on the organization.
  • Conference with the Consultant »
    A conference with the consultant, the executive, and the executive's manager helps ensure that the developmental plan is closely aligned with the goals of the organization and the key priorities for the executive.
  • Executive Coaching »
    Executive coaching provides expert guidance to help the executive move from improved self-insight to improved leadership effectiveness.
