With the High Definition 360° Assessment, our development recommendations are based on personal feedback from supervisors, peers and direct reports, along with the participant leader’s detailed self-evaluation.
And because each rater has the opportunity to provide “open feedback,” our quantitative analysis is complemented by honest commentary about the leader’s performance, potential and areas of opportunity.

Based on more than three decades of research, our HD 360 is built around the unique requirements of a leadership role—within the context of the team, strategy and culture of an organization.
Specifically, we focus on six dimensions of leadership, each defined by its own set of competencies and behaviors:

The Strategic dimension involves a leader’s long-term perspective and vision.
Can she identify the issues that will impact the organization’s future?
Does he engage others and create alignment around the “big picture”?
The Operational dimension involves a leader’s ability to execute against strategy and achieve business results.
Does he understand the financial impact of management decisions?
Does she focus her time and resources appropriately?
The People dimension involves a leader’s communication and team-management skills.

The Change dimension involves a leader’s ability to embrace and initiate change.

Precise, Actionable Information
Because the HD 360 is behavior-based—in all, we measure 72 distinct behaviors that indicate performance and potential within an organization—we are able to build each leader’s development plan around changing the specific behaviors with potential for derailing job performance.
Each HD report includes a graphic presentation of the leader’s performance in all six dimensions, followed by a breakdown of results for each of the 23 associated competencies.
To help the leader better understand his strengths, as well as his weaknesses, the report highlights the behaviors that receive the highest and lowest ratings.
This forms the basis of a behavior-based action plan—one that focuses as much on enhancing natural talents as it does on transforming weaknesses.
A primary goal of our development plan is identifying new ways in which the leader’s strengths can contribute to the success of the business.
